It has a powerful flavor that is typical of Yamahai and raw sake.
It has a citrus-like acidity and a strong rice flavor.

I found mine to be a sashimi of a humpback shark.
The fat was as good as that of cultured yellowtail, and the texture was as elastic as flatfish,
and a firm texture like a flatfish.
The sake blended well with the fat, and I could eat it without any smell.
