I bought this at a liquor store near the station during a business trip to Sendai. Since I was in Sendai, I wanted to buy a Miyagi sake,
Abekan KAERU🐸.
I was curious about the unique and indescribable label 🤣It's a fusion of retro and pop! I was more like a mix 🤣(sorry!)........ ...but that's where it hit me: ⁉️
Drinking it,,, it's not quite what I expected 🤔.
From the label, I thought it would be a bit more dry and traditional (my own imagination).
Sweet and sour on the palate! It has a lot of sweetness, and then the acidity gradually comes out from the sweetness.
A little apricot? Or is it plum?
It has a strong taste and a low alcohol content of 13 degrees, this is a dangerous one 😆.
Delicious 😋.
But the unique label design and the frogs are still a mystery? 🧐.
Is there a deep connection between Abe Kan and frogs?

Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😊.
I just looked again at J&N's post on Abe Kankan. I knew I imagined it to be dry 🤣and when I drank it, I was surprised at how sweet it was😱.
Sweet toad, indeed!
