Purchased from a salesperson at Sendai Mitsukoshi When we think of Daishichi, we think of nama-hashiroshi! This is a set from the old days. This one is an 8-year aged bottle of pure rice with a "nama yeast yeast yeast" principle. My wife is still not fond of the aged feeling, so I checked it out and was told that it is recommended for beginners as well, since it has almost no aged feeling. The price was reasonable, so we bought it. When we toasted the wine, my wife looked at me with a miffed look and said, "I don't like this one. I took a sip, and I realized that it had a matured feel to it! Of course, if it has been aged for 8 years, it must have some sense of maturity, even if it doesn't have it. I don't mind it, but it was not a hit with my wife, who has a dog nose. It is sweet and lightly aged, and since the brewery originally specializes in dry sake, it has a refreshing sharpness, which I like. The entrées were Scallop Drunken Mei and Shake Drunken Mei, sisters of Hoya Drunken Mei, a Shinkansen snack staple. Both are sake thieves like their older brother. If you are riding from Sendai, please try them! Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Hello Colonel Lal, ☀️ This is a very good wine. It is one of the bottles that shocked me last year. I was surprised to find it at Sendai Mitsukoshi, though most of the stores are not Daishichi's distributors.

Hello Kab 😁. I didn't know that! I hadn't thought of heating up the wine due to the season 😭 I guess I did something wasteful? I'll stock up on a bottle for heating up next time I find it 🤘.
