The pride of Shimane, our home town, is sake, Oroku.
The sake brewer is very particular about his sake, and the number of stores that carry it is limited, making it difficult to find.
Regardless of the latest fad, it's a delicious sake in its own right.
The mouthfeel is refreshing, but it leaves a tingle in your throat that only sake can leave.
It goes well with all kinds of food, and never loses or gets in the way.
Today, I paired it with Japanese cuisine, but it complements any dish.
It is the kind of sake that you don't think you can have as many glasses as you want, but you do.
This is the sake that I like the most, including my favorites.
I urge you to have a sip at least once!

I'm in the Kansai region, but it's hard to find.
The brewery limits the number of wholesalers (how it is stored, etc.), so there are only a few sake shops that can handle it.
I haven't been able to visit Akita lately, but I'd love to take some with me!

I found it for sale in the online shop of a liquor store in Osaka and Yokohama 😉 It costs 1500 yen 😅 for cool delivery, so I'll buy it along with other sake sometime 😆.
