My partner's Nagoya souvenir, W. It's been a while since I've had it. It seems to be made from Kinmon-nishiki, which is rare. The aroma is clean with a hint of vanilla.
It seems sweet, but when you sip it, there is a strong attack, and the umami spiciness remains on your tongue until it disappears. The alcohol content is 17 degrees, so it also has a kick to it. I have paired it with crab cakes mayo, chikuwa soy sauce, and oil sardine cabbage, and I think it goes well with mildly salty flavors such as mayonnaise. Delicious✨
