Okayama Prefecture, Akaban City. Toshimori Sake Brewery Co.
Sake Isshuji Summer Light Nigori Junmai Ginjo
This is a limited edition sake from the brewery, purchased during a trip to Okayama and Kagawa during the Obon holidays.
It is nigori and has a perforated stopper, so I thought it would squirt out when I opened the bottle, but it opened silently.
I may have let it sit in the fridge for a little too long💦.
Some liquor store owner told me that the perforated stopper drains gas faster 🤔.
I'll drink it cold.
The top aroma is a slight grain-like sweetness. I wonder if it is the aroma of koji.
The mouthfeel is silky due to the lees.
The taste has a concentrated flavor that gradually spreads in the mouth, and after swallowing, the koji aroma leaves the nose.
This is followed by a bitter taste that comes down the throat and lingers on the tongue.
It also has a sharp sake-like taste, and the aftertaste is smooth and clean.
Ingredients: Rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic)
Rice polishing ratio: 59
Alcohol Content:16%.

Hi Nemuchi 😃
I met this Sake Isshuji when we went out drinking sake for the first time together at the end of the year before last 🤗.
I remember how delicious it tasted 😁 and how the name could tell us our direction in the future 😌.
