Purchase of a warehouse
A birthday present from my son
He found a warehouse in Nasu-Karasuyama city where he went for work and bought it for me.
I wondered if I should drink a 20-year-old bottle or if I should let it sit longer, but I decided to take my son's feelings into consideration and opened the bottle.
I thought it was corked with a cork, but it had a cap inside a hollowed out piece of wood.
The beautiful golden color gave off an aroma like aged Shaoxing wine or whiskey.
It also tasted a little like Shaoxing wine. It tasted mild and sweet, with a hint of spiciness and bitterness at the end.
This is the taste of maturity!
I was happy to have a bottle that I would not have chosen for myself.
Thank you, my son. ‼︎

I've never received old sake before, so I'm curious to read your review ✨.
It's a wonderful sake time to feel your son's thoughts 😊.

Thank you very much.
The good thing about old wine is that you can drink it while thinking about what you and your family were doing back then.
