At my parents' house on a three-day weekend.
I bought a bottle of Mutsu Hachisen because my father had drunk it and liked it.
He said it is a sake to be enjoyed with seafood,
I paired it with tuna and horse mackerel sashimi.
There is almost no aroma. It has a slight sweetness on the palate,
It is dry and crisp. The aftertaste is short and quite refreshing.
The taste was unexpected, as both my father and I expected a fruity taste. Is it a dry version of Hakusen?
My father was expecting something sweet.
He was slightly disappointed, but this was delicious,
It was indeed a perfect match with fish.
