Mutsuotokoyamaクラシックヌーヴォー

This time it is Mutsu Otokoyama Classic Nouveau,
Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture.
We would like to express our deepest sympathies for the earthquake.
We were surprised by the large earthquake in the middle of the night😱.
Hachinohe Sake Brewery suffered some damage to the walls, but there was no major damage, which is a relief.
It is served well chilled.
The color is almost crystalline.
The top aroma is sweet cotton candy and green bamboo.
The fresh sweet and sour taste runs through the mouth with a fine fizzing sensation, and the taste is refreshingly crisp with just the right amount of mild bitterness.
It is a delicious sake that lightly betrays the classical impression of the label, and gives a fresh and refreshing impression of the youthfulness of new sake.
Is it possible to have such a fresh and refreshing sake?
If you look closely at the label, you will see that it is made by Omiya.
I was surprised to learn the other day that the founder of Hachinohe Sake Brewery was an Omi merchant from Takashima City in present-day Shiga Prefecture, and therefore his store name was Omiya! That's why I brought it home.
I was secretly excited to find out that the story of this area is very interesting to me personally, and I hope to make a trip there next year💕.
Please, I hope the earthquake will be under control.

Good evening Peco 🍶.
You are drinking something very unusual 😁.
Yes, it's not a classic at all lol.
When I drank it 3 years ago, it was more subdued and crispy with less aroma 🙄🙄.

Good evening, Matsuchiyo-san. The label is to my liking, and the taste is a good way to betray the image of the label 😆 It is getting closer to Mutsu Hachisen, isn't it? I would have liked to try the sharp one 🤔.
