［Continuation of the meal at Mantani
After opening the Bon, we were about to start the first dish and the fried dish, so we decided to have another sake.
Hanagaki Yamahai Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake
Sweet aroma of fluffy rice, clean sweetness, and a cool aftertaste, with a lingering bitterness that lingers on the tip of the tongue.
I thought it would have some peculiarities based on the image of "Yamahai" sake I had drunk in the past, but I was surprised to find that it was unexpectedly easy to drink.
The clean sweet umami flavor goes well with [roasted duck] and [fried sea bream Wakasa-age] in the [a la carte] menu.
My father and father-in-law drank their barley shochu and finished a four-pack in two hours💦.
It was a day to toast to the growth of our children and to the health of my parents, who were drinking in high spirits 😆.
And one more thing, I was able to successfully wear the suit that my in-laws gave me in return for my engagement 😁.
I had to take a picture of my first daughter in a different suit when I visited the shrine six months after she was born because I couldn't fit in the suit due to my wedding weight 🤣.
