We look forward to working with you this year.
I hope you enjoy sake as much as we do this year😊.
New Year's Day dinner sake is Tenjinbayashi from Tokamachi, Niigata.
I got it the other day at Kuwabara Shoten in Gotanda.
The art bottle was designed by the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, which is held every autumn (I haven't been there yet, but I heard it's a great event that uses the nature of the land to create modern art expressions😌). The design was chosen from about 900 entries from the public, and the fourth owner of Kuwabara Shoten was involved.
This is the first time I've ever seen it in a 300ml bottle.
Now, let's take a look at the special brew first.
It's a little on the umami side for Niigata.
It's 55% polished and has been carefully brewed.
If you warm it up, the flavor comes out even more 😀 .
It goes well with zenmai-ni (stewed zenmai with herring), and you can enjoy your New Year's meal slowly.
