Off-line meeting of "Sake-no-wa Kansai_Hankai Train Charter" held on August 26, 2023.
Each participant brought a four-pack of sake and drank it all.
This is the 11th bottle of my check-in, which I would like to try as long as I can remember, but it is about time...
This sake was provided by Ofuji-san.
Kamikawa Taisetsu Kitashizuku Junmai Ginjyo Sakura Label from Kamikawa Taisetsu Shuzo in Kamikawa-cho, Kamikawa-gun, Hokkaido 🌸.
It's a foul play for a handsome guy to bring such a fashionable sake😄.
Kamikawa Taisetsu Sake Brewery is a new sake brewery that started brewing sake in 2017 from the Midorigaoka Brewery in Kamikawa Town, Hokkaido.
They are actively expanding their business in Hokkaido, including the creation of the Hekiun Brewery on the campus of Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in Tokachi in 2020 and the Goryono-Brewery in Hakodate in 2021.
The brewery brews with Hokkaido terroir, using 100% contract-cultivated, Hokkaido-grown rice suitable for sake brewing.
The appearance is a misty white color with a hint of sake lees, as is typical of spring sake.
On the palate, it has a slightly thick texture with a slight gassy sensation.
The gentle sweetness and umami of the rice, typical of orikarami, spreads softly, and the minimal acidity finishes it off.
It was also quite to my liking!
I know I'm persistent, but I still wanted to drink more😅.
