This is the third bottle of this year, and already a candidate for victory has emerged.
In the 2021 brewing year, the hanging mouth was taken over from Kuroryu by Kutouryuu. I opened a bottle that I had purchased last year.
Brewer's comment: This is a lightly nigori (nigori-genshu) sake that was bottled fresh from the cold brewery, with a rich aroma flowing out of the tank.
What the heck is this? It's a taste that will blow away your New Year's fogginess.
I haven't had a chance to drink the kuro-ryu, so I can't compare it to the kuro-ryu, but there is no mistaking its high reputation.
There is no way to describe it, but it has a fruity and elegant aroma. In the mouth, the sweetness and bitterness hit you hard. The mildness of the lightly muddled taste seems to balance out the violent freshness of the new sake. The high alcohol content creates a satisfying drinking experience and a long aftertaste. You know you're going to get drunk if you keep drinking it, but it's a bad one that makes you feel like you don't mind.
This is a bottle that you should not touch unless it is before a vacation.
The fact that it sold out immediately after it was released is no mean feat.
I'm glad I bought it in a bottle. I'm sorry.

Good evening, Shoutaso🌆
I've always had a good impression of Kuroryu, but I see that it has been taken over by Kutouryu.
I was curious about the rave reviews, so I just got a bottle of it, 300ml. I'll drink it tonight!
