I thought I had to try it, so I ordered it 😤.
The smell is a combination of sweet and sooty. The sooty smell is unique and interesting.
When you put it in your mouth, it is highly carbonated. Super tingling. ⚡️
After the carbonation subsides, the delicious taste of rice spreads.
The bitterness comes slowly, and then the alcohol taste sinks in.
It is assertive but not unpleasant at all, and the drink is very satisfying.
I thought this sake might go well with grilled octopus... 🐙.
It is a head-on sake with no sweetness at all 🍶.
