The long-awaited Bon vacation was over in the blink of an eye.
Due to my parents' poor health, I was unable to take an overnight trip, so I just wandered around the neighborhood or took a bullet tour to visit the graves in the prefecture.
It's been a week since I started work, and with the wistfulness of the waning summer, I'd like to open a bottle of Miyakanme!
Extra Class Sanmai Hachi Umami
This is my favorite summer sake from Miyagi!
It has a complex flavor and a sense of weight from the three types of rice used to make it, yet it's refreshing and compelling, without the lightness of flavor that is so common in summer sake. Is it the best?
It is a great way to rouse a slightly downcast feeling.
Don't abuse me, sake words on their own.
