Completed my biggest job ever in Hakodate! We should celebrate 🥂. We went to a izakaya in front of the station that a local told us about, Gyosanko (is that a pun on Gyosanko or Dosanko?). After drinking draft beer, we moved on to sake! Mainly sake made in Hokkaido! Let's start with the stable Goho! Special Junmai Sake "Ginpu I've had this sake several times in the past, but tonight it was quite alcoholic! I would have preferred something a little more fruity, but I poured it into a sake cup and enjoyed! Enjoy fresh seafood from Hakodate! Raw oysters and gokko soup! a few words of knowledge Hakodate brewery started brewing sake in southern Hokkaido for the first time in 35 years. This special junmai sake is made with Ginpu, a Ginpu grape produced in Nanae, where the brewery is located. Brewed with local rice, water, and people, Donan terroir is the keyword of this brewery, which produces relatively light sake. It has a mellow flavor in the brewery. Rice used: Ginpu (contract grown rice in Hokkaido) Rice polishing ratio: 55 Alcohol content: 16%.
