The first "Kaze no Mori" in my life!
Polishing ratio 50%, 507 with No.7 type yeast.
When I was looking for a fruity sake, the owner of the liquor store said, "Kaze no Mori is not recommended, but if you dare recommend it," so I gave it a try.
When I opened the lid, I was greeted with a refreshing grapefruit aroma.
When I put it in my mouth, I felt a little bit of foam and the flavor of the rice, but most of all I felt a strong bitterness. I wonder if this is a characteristic of Kaze no Mori?
As the days go by, it becomes more and more mellow.
I think it is best to taste it while it is still fresh, because once it settles down, I feel that the goodness of this sake will fade away.
The fruity and bitter taste makes it difficult to pair with rice, but it is an interesting(?) sake. It was an interesting(?) sake.

Hi, teco-san. I also had my first Kaze no Mori (657) the other day, and I thought it was a light drink while picking up some western style appetizers. I thought it was suitable for the first drink.

Thank you for your comment, Tokusan. You're right, it's more western than Japanese food! I'd like to try many different types of Kaze no Mori.
