Tsururei's Soup Mellow 🎐.
I've been ordering Tsururei when it's on the menu these days.
The aroma on the nose is slightly sweet.
It is light and dry like water on the palate.
The umami is only faintly perceptible.
It is like a more refreshing version of the Tsururei Junmai Super Dry which I drank the other day 🤔.
I know it's a summer sake, but this is the lightest Tsururei I've ever tasted 😅.
I would like to taste more robust umami that is typical of Tsururei.

Shiozawa's Tsururei is a delicious sake that is not typical of Niigata sake and I like it a lot👍.
I think seasonal sake and fire-aged standard brands tend to have a lighter umami.

This hiyaoroshi is mellow and I like it so much that I buy it and drink it every year.

I haven't had the Yamada Nishiki Tokusyu yet, but there is a bar in my neighborhood that stocks Tsururei well, so I'll ask them next time 😆.
