Aged sake over almost 6 years? Old sake? The color is a little brown and the aroma is similar to caramel and mirin.
The color is slightly brown and the aroma is similar to caramel and mirin.
The liquor store advised me to enjoy it at various sake temperatures, so I gave it a try.
Cold sake: It had a caramel flavor aroma and a dry taste with a pronounced acidity.
Room temperature: The flavor mellowed out a bit.
Hot - skipped warming: The aroma and flavor mellowed and it became easier to drink.
