I'm definitely a garlic person when it comes to bonito and I'm going with Matsumori from Ibaraki.
It's very refreshing and brings out the flavor of the bonito without interfering with the bonito.
I have been enjoying all the sake from Ibaraki lately.
Well, I'm a person who likes anything as long as it has alcohol in it... 😇
The fourth picture is shirasu (baby sardine) kakiage.
You don't know what shirasu is until you eat it.
