Summer Nama Sake, Aoi Murayu!
At Miyakoya, which I hadn't peeked into for a long time.
Gorgeous, fruity aroma like white peaches,
Mellow mouthfeel,
Smooth, citrusy acidity
and elegant sweetness,
Refreshing bitterness and umami flavor.
The taste is crisp and clean,
It is delicious! I want to drink it in large gulps.
Murayu is really delicious.
And you should walk to the liquor store even if it is a bit far. Because you can do a tasting on a moment's notice...!
Aoi Sake Brewery (formerly Takahashi Sake Brewery) is a new sake brewery in Nagaoka, created this year as a result of a business succession. I wanted to try a new brand of sake brewed by a new female brewer, but the price was 5,500 yen for a four-pack, which I couldn't afford at the Sake-no-jin (a sake camp) because of the charge for tasting. Thank goodness I was allowed to sample it at a store I am familiar with!
I hope to drink it one day. I hope they continue to do well in Niigata.
