When opened, it has a pushee.
Slightly gassy
Sweet lychee-like aroma
The fruity aroma, moderate sweetness, and umami of rice spread over the tangy acidity.
For a sake with a sake strength of -30, the sweetness is not bothersome due to the acidity and bitterness. It can be served as a stand-alone sake or as an in-between-dinner drink.
A refreshing, well-balanced and stylish sake.
It goes well with meat and potatoes, kombu-braised mackerel grilled with salt, and soaked spinach, but it seems to go better with meat dishes than seafood. It also went well with homemade fake smoked gakko.
