ちゃんまやP
Overripeness indeed... This is a 6-year-aged raw sake with an alcohol content of 17 to 18 degrees Celsius. Since the shipment was made last November, about 1 year of it was aged in stores (or was it unsold...?). 😅) It took a bit of courage, but I had to try this one as a raw ripened sake lover 😊. The top aroma smells quite alcoholic and the color is a light golden color. In the mouth, it has a nutty, caramel-like ripeness and a dry astringency. When heated, it becomes softer, and it is best served lukewarm. It is best served lukewarm. It is enjoyable in winter with nabe (hot pot) dishes. I like the sense of maturity that it has, even when served cold, but I think it's a bit too much for me if I let it sit this long 🤔. I can't say I liked it, but it was very informative for me to gauge my taste scale. I need to try different types of wines!

Good evening, Chanmaya P. I had a bottle of Miyama Jizuki last year, which was aged for maybe 2 years, and although it didn't seem that matured, it was a delicious sake and I was hoping to have it again someday 😊 Glad to see this label 😆.

Hirupeko, if it's 2 years old or something, it seems to have more mellowness left in it! If you find a label a little younger, I'd love to buy it 😄.
