Meitama" is brewed on a trial basis every year at the Hiroshima Prefectural Food Industrial Technology Center and is not available on the market. This year, the sake was brewed with Hiroshima Prefecture's original sake rice, Moeibuki, which is resistant to high temperatures during the summer. The aroma is mild and refreshing. It is smooth and soft on the palate, with a hint of sweetness, just as the name "Moe" implies. This is an excellent product that is expected to become a regular sake rice. We enjoyed it with oden for the first time this year, a heavy favorite in winter.
