Came down with a cold and stopped drinking for a few days. I still have a headache, but yeah, let's drink.
I got a bottle of Cel-24 nigori (nigori is a type of sake made from a fermented rice wine) without incident this year. This sake has a strong image of being a rambunctious drinker, but it was safely opened in a few minutes.
The aroma is, of course, pineapple🍍. It is already a winner of the Pineapple of the Year award. The gasiness is quite strong.
It is sweet, sour, and completely pineapple soda. It's hard to drink this as a drink.
It's like a juice, but it's very nice and pleasant to drink all the way through. There is no bitterness, and the aftertaste is beautiful.
Well, this is delicious. I think this sake will expand the range of sake! I think it is a really great sake!
