We were given a bottle of Sogen, which was recommended by one of the regulars at the restaurant!
Although it is a brewed sake, it is a gorgeous and very easy-drinking sake, and I was surprised at the taste, which I could not imagine from the label. I can imagine the junmai sake here must be delicious too!

I too have lost a lot because of preconceived notions of names and labels 🤣.
These days, I'm lucky that I can get a lot of information in advance at sakewa😇.
The hanpukai is also a fun way to meet a variety of sakes 😀.
