The last stop this time was Shichihonjari in Shiga Prefecture, which was a first for me. This is my first time here, but I'm going with a different kind of sherry cask-aged wine 🥃.
When you open the bottle and pour it, you can smell the deep oaky aroma that is as good as whiskey. The aroma is sweet and fragrant with a woody and caramel flavor.
The mouthfeel is round and calm, with flavors of raisins, dried fruits, and chocolate. The palate is round and calm, with flavors of raisins, dried fruits, and chocolate, with a touch of oil and nuttiness.
It tastes as good as a whiskey, but the aftertaste and the depths of the flavor are unique and interesting, with a strong pure sake-like aftertaste!
It is truly one and only! It is a new world and a new world beyond description👍
There are still unknown worlds out there, and my heart is still dancing.
I will continue to explore it carefully on my 6th tour of Japan!
