The drinks we compared this time were...
Ecru 2022, Ecru 2021, Ecru 2017 Morocco Earthquake Relief Sake, and Ecru Vintage 2015 Akita Prefecture Torrential Rain Disaster Relief Sake 🙂.
In order of preference...
Ecru Vintage 2015.
It has a pleasant sweet and complex taste 😆 It's not fresh but it's very deep and noble without the punch of an old wine. I liked this one the best: ☝️
Ecru 2017."
Woody aroma on the palate. You can enjoy this drink for its aroma. I wonder if the wine-like taste is due to this aroma 🍷.
The taste is a milder version of "Ecru Vintage 2015"! The aroma is distinctive.
This was a close second, but if you want to pair it with a meal, I'd say #1 🤔.
The 2021 and 2022 were just average.
The 2021 was better but the vintage is by far the best 🤔.
It suddenly got cold. Be careful not to get sick and enjoy the delicious season of Sake.

I think the ecru is easy to drink but the vintage is more characteristic and tasty 🤔I don't think I'll be able to change the taste like this if I age it at home, so I'm not going to age it at home.

Colors are easy to get, No.6, Ten Frog and Nirvana Tortoise are hard to find 💦I'm pretty sure that the sake is controlled by the brewery, not by the house or the liquor store 🤔.

しぇり〜Manachie, reconstruction support sake tends to use vintage. I heard that the sake brewer, the liquor store and the purchaser raise and donate 1000 yen per bottle. Vintage ecru definitely tastes better than the regular stuff, but I wonder if it is made in a different way.

It suddenly got cold. I was supposed to traverse the Kyushu mountains on Sunday, but it was too cold at the top of the mountain, so I went back the way I came up instead of traversing. Ecru is delicious when you lay it down, it has a complex flavor! ♪

I liked Lapis the best, but I'm sorry it's gone. I think I like Earth and Ecru for the current colors... 2017 had a nice scent... 2015 had a nice deep luxury feel.

Even the ecru tastes very different from year to year. The 2015 didn't have the punch of the old wine and had less acidity, but it had a complex and luxurious taste that was delicious.

しぇり〜Haruei Chichi, Colors vintage is often marketed as a recovery sake, but they are all delicious. I have two bottles of non-colors vintage sake stocked in my fridge now 🙂 it's hard to decide when to drink them 😅.

しぇり〜Tsubu, this was pretty good! I always look forward to the recovery support sake because it has a different atmosphere. The price may be high, but the satisfaction is more than worth it, so I'll gladly support it. All of Shinmasa's challenges are delicious, so I have high expectations for them.
