The second sake I bought at Hakurei Brewery.
This sake won the gold medal in 2023 at the [Feminaries World Wine Competition], selected by "female" wine experts from around the world.
It is a very sweet sake with a minus 20 degree Celsius!
It certainly has a gentle taste that can be perceived as white grape juice, and I can understand why it won the award. When we spoke with the brewery, they told us that they produced a few bottles the first year, but they sold out quickly and sold out the next year as well, so they made more this year.
It is easy to drink for sake beginners, and for lovers of umami sake, it is easy to drink as a food sake.
The clear, sweet flavor is very tasty during this hot and humid season!
