After visiting Marugame, we went to the innermost part of the temple, the 1368-step Kintohira mairi. The lush nature and scenery along the way and the majestic main shrine at the end of the path were both refreshing and solemn. There are many shrines along the way, so we received a lot of power.
I will skip the visit to Kinryo Brewery in the next post.

When tasted thoroughly, it has a mellow flavor with a rich rice-like umami.

Thus, after touring the mountains and hills of Bicchu Matsuyama and Marugame, both legs had run out of energy.
