Sake from Fukushima
Hirotogawa Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki
Matsuzaki Shuzo, which makes Hirotogawa, basically uses Fukushima-produced sake rice called Yumen no Kou, but this one is brewed with Yamadanishiki.
Compared to the previous junmai ginjo, this one is cleaner and has a deeper rice flavor. It is delicious. It is said that they will stop brewing Yamadanishiki this year despite such a delicious taste. Too bad.
