I've had both kiyoshu and nigori sake before, but I've never had both kiyoshu and nigori sake, so I was curious when I bought this one. I was expecting it to be sweet and sour, but it wasn't that sweet for a sake with a sake rating of over -50. It's a slightly sparkling, slightly sweet, sloppy, high-viscosity saké with a distinctive nigorizake aroma. It may be good as an aperitif or after-dinner drink, but it's not good as a sipping drink. It is not drinkable in quantity, so a small bottle is certainly sufficient.
