I found it by chance at Matsubishi, a department store in Tsu, and bought it, but it seems to be mostly for local consumption and basically not available outside the brewery. Matsushima Sake Brewery is located in a very remote part of Tsu city, and you can't get there without a car. I searched and found that they don't have an official website, but they do have an Instagram and TikTok account😅. I was surprised to read that there is no staff at the sake counter and they are out of their seats so you have to ask someone at the other counter 😳. I wonder if local department stores are like this? The sake counter also had the name of Hashimoto Sake Brewery, which brews Basho in Iga City, but they didn't have it in stock💦. I've been curious about Basho, so I wanted to try it... Aroma of bran and grain type. Sweet but classic taste. Not bad as a cold sake, but I think it's better as a warmed sake. The top aroma is somewhat unique, or perhaps... There are 4 brands registered here at the brewery, but only one checks in...

Good evening, bouken. How did you find this very rare sake? I have never seen it myself. I'm a bit interested in it, but since you say it's a classic, I think I'll hold off 🙇. I'll have to hold off on that one.

Hi Ace, good evening. I bought a lot of things at Ise, but I thought there might be more at the department store 😊. Yokkaichi Kintetsu seems to have a better selection, but I didn't have time 💦I think you have different tastes 🤔.

Good evening. I don't even know the name of this one at all. I think I can handle it. It looks like it's near a hot spring, so if I get a good time, I'll go check out the brewery.

Good morning Shinjo🌅. I first heard about it in the store myself😅. I think if you go to the brewery, you can find many different kinds of sake on the shelves, and it looks like they have fresh sake until around March 🤔.
