Sendai Sake Fest ⑤ Next is Tsuki no Wa (^o^), which I missed drinking when I was a student. This time it was a natural rice sake, which I had never had before. This sake is made from rice. Many sake made with rice have an image of being a little heavy, but this one was not so heavy. While it retains the rice flavor, it also has a moderate acidity and a refreshing aftertaste. It is a sake suitable for a mealtime drink. The brewer and I enjoyed talking about Iwate for a while.
