Keeping up the momentum from yesterday's sake party 🍶...here's tonight💁!
From our favorite brands...Yamada Nishiki 🌾 Nananoujozo from Sancho 🍸 ✨ the best of the season according to the officials 😍!
I applied for the online lottery to get a chance to buy this one (it was quite expensive) 😅.
In SanDo, the name "Nozomi" is used to describe the rank of the sake, based on the philosophy of agriculture + brewing 🤔.
Here are the 7 Nozomoto breweries: (1) rice grown in the Kikuchi River basin, (2) sake yeast, (3) raw yeast, (4) no pesticides, (5) wooden vat, (6) no additive yeast, and (7) shiori ✨.
Now... let's get to it... 🥰!
I'm grinning even before I open the bottle... but now it's time to open the bottle.
The inner bottle cap blew out while I was throwing away the garbage after opening the outer bottle 😱....
I'm glad it didn't blow out 😅
Now, I'll get myself together and pour it into a glass 🥂.
The aroma is slightly lemony.
The sip from the first sip...a refreshing feeling like champagne 🍾 that spreads in a sizzle, acidity like lemon 🍋, and sweetness of old style brewing shiori (≒Kijoshu) 🥰.
The fainting taste makes you forget that this is sake 😵.
The best of the season is a convincing taste (cosmetics aside...) 😍
My personal best of the year so far is without a doubt... Sansho 🥇.
Thank you for finding this sake 🙏.
Day 2: 🗒️
As I said...more schwarziness 🫧⏫.
Delicious 🤤.
