A bit dry and strong in flavor, but not much of an aftertaste. I felt it was a bit salty at the end.
It feels strong for the strength of the alcohol content.
Today I had it with a set of snacks from all over Japan, such as nigiri of yellowtail from Kanazawa, puffer fish tempura from Yamaguchi, etc... 😉.
The package is a monochromatic picture of Jurakudai. Serious design. Appealing "Rakuchu lore". Not Fushimi. Why Juraku-dai? Is Sasaki Sake Brewery located near Juraku-dai?
