It was slightly carbonated, so I guess you could call it nigori sparkling. Since it is sparkling while retaining the richness and sweetness of nigori sake, it is very easy to drink and has a nice acidity, making it a great starter. The label is also gentle and sake connoisseurs may not touch it, but it was a very tasty sparkling.
