Memories of the trip: A night in Kamaishi
At a tavern near the inn
A restaurant run by a single proprietress who looks like a snack mom.
The only sake they serve is Hamachidori.
Excellent, excellent, excellent!
Labels never seen before even at Hamachidori (the two on the left)
Genzui, which is not widely available.
Neighborhood terroir made with Ginga from the neighboring town of Otsuchi and water from Otsuchi
Junmai Ginjo is
Refreshingly citrusy and dry
Soft ginjo aroma
Junmai Daiginjo is
Naturally cleaner and less citrusy
Elegant and full-bodied
Sashimi assortment as a side dish
I've never tasted Donko no Namenro before!
The thick, leatherfish-like gizzard calls for sake!
Fortunately or unfortunately, there were no other customers, so we were able to monopolize Mom and listen to her talk about the tsunami and the current situation in Kamaishi!
I almost forgot the details...
I don't remember most of the details! So they bought a new land and rebuilt.
I heard that she opened her store for the customers who had nowhere else to go when she was in Korona.
Rock 'n' roll stories are good for a bar!
It was a good memory of the trip.
