Not much aroma,
The mouthfeel is robust and umami, with a little sourness from the oak barrels.
A little acidity. Not modern.
I enjoyed it over two days with meat and potatoes, fried horse mackerel, and yuzu kosho in a chicken hot pot with white hot water.
I thought Yamazan is not only a modern fruity sake, but also a classical sake.
