bouken
It is said to be a drink that originated in California.
Sold by WAKAZE, which makes doburoku and sake in France, and manufactured by Takara Shuzo.
I'd love to try the California-made one, but importing it would be a huge price tag 💦.
I've been curious about this for a while, but I found it at Lawson. It has a strong yuzu aroma. The mouthfeel is quite dry with a bitter taste at the end.
I drank the sake version of this the other day, but YUZU is more like a chu-hai than a sake.
The cost is also bad. If you want to drink this, it is much cheaper to drink a chu-hai or a sankappu.
When I drank the sake one, I thought it was not so good, but it might be much better than YUZU.
I think YUZU should have kept a little more of the sake flavor 🤔.
