The brewery is Hara Shuzo, located in Kashiwazaki, Niigata Prefecture. It is also a rice-producing region, and the rice used is 100% Niigata rice.
The neck label reads, "Echigo Snow Storage Cold Whiskey," and the design of the label resembles snow crystals. It is characterized by the storage method in which new sake is stored in a snow chamber for 250 days.
