Slight melon or banana-like top-end
The aroma of rice malt mixed with the same soft aroma as the first sip, the modest sweetness and firm umami of rice spread quickly with soft acidity, and the slight bitterness and spiciness of the alcohol make it finish quickly.
The full-bodied Omachi-like rice flavor gives the impression of being rather robust, but the moderate sweetness and the dryness of the alcohol in the latter half of the bottle keeps it from being too heavy. It goes well with meals and is also delicious on its own.
It goes well with grilled sea bream, fried Japanese pavilion fish, dashimaki tamago with leeks, and furofuki daikon radish.
It also went well with chicken mizutaki and pescatore rosso.
