The sweetness and richness of this sake was so good that everyone was shouting "yummy! The taste was so good that we couldn't help but shout out "yummy" together.
Taman Jochu Yaegiku
The label has a nice retro feel to it. The aroma is sweet from the first whiff. The aroma is standard, but it has a sweet and umami taste with a full-bodied flavor. It is also delicious.
I heard that even sake shops that are members of the Japan Meimon Sake Association don't have much of this brand. The owner of a sake shop was just in town, so I gave him a bottle, telling him that he should be able to get it because it is a member of the Meimon Shuzukai (Japan Famous Sake Association).
I heard that Sasaki Shuzo Gomei Kaisha in Ehime has the same brand of Yaegiku, but it seems that the brewery is closed now.
