This is the fire-hardened Omachi that I failed to buy last year. I'm glad it's still around.
The aroma is soft and juicy, just like Jikan.
The aroma and taste are more subdued than raw 🤤 you can taste the full flavor of Omachi, yet the taste is clean and well balanced 🤤 easy to pair with food ☺.
I'd like to try the Junmai Daiginjo next month, but at 5,500 yen, I'm not sure...
