We had friends over from Okayama on Monday and Tuesday, so we had a lot of drinks. It was fun. ☺️ It's been a while since I drank at home today 🍶😁.
Let's start with the first saké. The nose has a hint of alcohol and a hint of banana🍌.
It is quite crisp in the mouth while retaining the sweetness of the rice. I wonder if there is a little bit of banana in the aroma.
I paired it with grilled pork with ginger. The slightly sweetened sauce increased the acidity and alcohol content of this sake, giving it a smooth yet refreshing taste. It is a good sake for a mealtime drink.
