I was surprised by the taste of Tamitsu at a Mie cuisine izakaya before. It was hard to find it at liquor stores in Tokyo, and finally I was able to obtain it.
The aroma is gorgeous. The acidity is moderate and the flavor is robust. It leaves a moderate aftertaste. It is an excellent match for marinated tuna. I think it goes well with soy sauce flavored Japanese food in general.
Very high level as a food sake.
