Purchased at Sawanoi-en's store near Ozawa Shuzo's brewery.
I asked the clerk, "Do you have any sake that can only be purchased here?" The clerk was very kind and told us about the characteristics of the various sakes and the limited number of sakes they distribute to restaurants, so we bought this one.
Nama sake can sometimes be a bit harsh when freshly opened, but this one is very easy to drink and tastes great without being harsh, perhaps because it has been aged for about six months or because it is an aromatic sake to begin with.
It has a light and gorgeous ginjo-like aroma, sweetness, and acidity, and is especially delicious because the umami of the rice that forms the base of the sake can be felt well.
