Hakkaisan Echigo de Souro
Hakkaisan is named after Mt. Hakkaisan, a sacred mountain in the local area that has been a training ground for Yamabushi (mountain priests) since ancient times. Minamiuonuma is blessed with abundant water, and Hakkai Brewery uses "Raiden-sama no Shimizu," the famous water from Hakkai-san, not only for brewing but also in all processes of sake brewing.
