Sake from Tochigi
Bo: Junmai Ginjyo Hitogochochi, Activated Nama Nigori
This sake brewery is located in Mashiko. I bought this sake at Okada Sake Shop when I visited the Mashiko Pottery Market. They also recommended Junmai Daiginjo, but I bought this one because it is rare to buy active nigori in May.
The label on the back reads
The label on the back of the bottle reads, "Brewed to harmonize the umami, sweetness, and acidity of the rice, and to achieve a balance of elegant and refined citrusy fresh aroma and acidity.
This is exactly what it says. This is exactly what it says, and everything is well-balanced, elegant, and delicious. It is so delicious that one wonders if this is what it would be like if Jyushiyo made nigori sake.
Degree of liking 10/10
