SAMURAIZ
While exploring sake at a department store, a sake brewed with Nadeshiko flower yeast caught my eye, and the toji, Hiromi Ono, appeared in person. The stand-alone tasting was quite good, and although I was on a business trip, I ended up taking this sake home with me.
A 100% Gin-Otome, flower yeast brewed, now it was time to open the bottle. The cap is quite firm. When you put it in your mouth, it has a slight sweetness. The sweet aroma also escapes through the nose. Is this "flower yeast? The taste is very sweet, but there is no sourness or bitterness. There is almost no sourness or bitterness, and it is delicious. I can't come up with a good description, but it's a sweet and tasty "sakiso" type of sake. I served it with homemade oil sardine and ume shiso tataki on top. It is also the best match.
It was a nice encounter on the first day of a three-day weekend.
